Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association Strategic Plan for 2011-2014

The DWBIA utilizes strategic planning as an important governance and management tool in moving the organization actively towards the realization of its Mission and Mandate.  

In 2004, the DWBIA completed its first Strategic Plan.  A second generation plan was prepared in 2007, covering the 2007 to 2010 period. 

In the winter of 2010, the Board of Directors identified the timeliness to undertake the next generation Strategic Plan for the DWBIA for the 2011 to 2014 period.  

On May 30^th 2011, the Board of Directors and the Acting Executive Director met with a facilitator to prepare the next generation Strategic Plan for DWBIA.  The following document represents the results of that workshop.  The Strategic Plan has been reviewed and approved by the DWBIA Board of Directors.   

With that approval, management, along with appropriate Board participation, will prepare an Implementation Plan, followed by regular reporting on the implementation of the Strategic Plan to the Board of Directors.
