For the third year in a row, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association and the Windsor Star are making sure the tradition continues by bringing back the Battle of the Gingerbreads. Sponsoring this fabulous initiative and making it possible are the St. Clair College Alumni Association and Johnson Insurance.
Windsor-Essex residents are invited to submit online images of their gingerbread house masterpieces to the Windsor Star between November 22 and December 7 for the chance to win Best Gingerbread House in Windsor-Essex.
Entries are evaluated on the following criteria: appearance, originality, creativity, difficulty and consistency of theme. Houses are judged by the community at large, entirely online, until the first, second and third place winners are declared.
