Naturally comfortable and dark, Mailloux has been critically accepted at each level. Reaching the ceiling of Canadian comedy, he moved to NYC in 2016 to take the next step. He then got hit by a semi truck and ended up in Chicago, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He is a regular on popular podcasts like Doug Loves Movies and Legion of Skanks, heard by hundreds of thousands of listeners weekly. And clubs like The Stand, New York Comedy Club, Laugh Factory, and more. As well as being part of last year’s New York Comedy Festival.During his time in Canada he toured across country with the great Doug Stanhope, and hosted at Just For Laughs for WWE legend Mick Foley. In 2012 he was selected among thousands of entries on Dailymotion.com to perform at the Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, where he bombed. Luckily, he did find success in Europe performing in England, Sweden, Germany and a month run at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he did NOT lose money. He was even asked to open up for rock band System of a Down, before he was asked not to.
