Calling local artists, artisans and crafters!

We’re all missing the official Open Streets Windsor, and are excited at the prospect of two such events in 2021, COVID-19 permitting. However, to allow our local artists, crafters and artisans time in the spotlight we’re bringing the DWBIA’s arts fair, which normally takes place during the festival, to our upcoming street closure weekend in the core.

We’ve successfully closed downtown streets to vehicle traffic for five weekends, allowing our stores and restaurants to serve customers on extended patios or hold sidewalk sales. Now it’s the artists’ turn! Join us for the Downtown Windsor Arts Fair on Sept. 26.

We’ll be placing artistic exhibitors on University Avenue, between Pelissier Street and Maiden Lane, with the objective of engaging residents and visitors alike.

We are inviting local artists, crafters and artisans to display their talents. Join us and set up a FREE 10′ x 10′ booth/exhibit. A deposit of $25 will secure your spot and will be refunded in full after the vendor sets up their booth/event space on September 26.

The event presents a unique opportunity to sell your products and captivate new audiences. The DWBIA envisions that this event will capture a wide array of artistic and creative talent from Windsor and Essex County, while creating a vibrant atmosphere for downtown residents and visitors. Set up will be from 1:30PM-2:30PM and tear down will be from 8PM-9PM. Please note that you will be required to sign a community partner waiver indemnifying the DWBIA.

Space is limited. Please register before September 15, 2020.
