Half Day Virtual Film Camp: Ages 9-11
Our virtual Filmmaking Camps will are half-day camps that take place through Zoom for three hours per day Monday-Friday. The online sessions include a lesson each day, group film-related projects, and interactive games. At the end of the day, participants will be assigned “homework” to complete for the next day, which can include filming certain scenes, finishing their storyboards, etc. Scripts are written so that participants are on camera or tablet individually and so participants can film additional footage from home using a camera, or phone or tablet set at 4K. Files filmed from home will be emailed to staff through MyAirBridge.com (they have a FREE plan, and it is safe), and emailed to the camp’s email address ([email protected]). Finished camp movies are approximately 1.5- to 5-minutes, and they are uploaded to the camp’s YouTube Channel at the end of each week. We encourage family members, e.g. cousins, and friends from different regions to participate in our online film camps – both tutorials and our online filmmaking camps. It can be quite fun to appear in a film with a cousin from another city or country!
