Sunday, July 3: Turning Protest Signs Into Art
Design and create your own mixed media protest signs which will installed in the studio.
Sunday, July 10: Fingertip Self-Portraits
Using pre-printed thumbs, participants will design fingertip self-portraits using black sharpies and recycled magazines.
Sunday, July 17: My Silhouette
Trace your silhouette! Use mosaic pieces and mixed-media to fill in your self-portrait silhouette.
Sunday, July 24: My Community Portrait
Create an original community portrait using cutouts of diverse faces from recycled magazines.
Sunday, July 31: Make Your Own Flag!
Express yourself by making a flag of your own design using mixed media!
All participants MUST pre-register online. Drop-in between 1-4pm on Saturdays.
This program is free with admission to AWE and open to all.
