An exhilarating Original Dance Production is coming to Windsor-Essex County, winter of 2023!
Being presented at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts – Chrysler Theatre, February 10th, 17th, and
March 3rd, 10th, at 8pm EST, as well as March 11th at 2pm and 7pm EST.
Voca’s muse is a riveting story of searching for your life’s passions, juggling the demands of society,
& finding yourself. A testament to how art always shows us the way to our true happiness when we
let it.
Led by local arts enthusiasts & entrepreneurs Justin Teeuwen of Meta Excellence Inc. and Justine
Thompson-Fisher of Song & Dance Productions Inc. & Feet in Flux, Voca’s muse is a story full of
beautiful movement, laughing relatability, & a truly spectacular opportunity to watch some of the
wonderful dance talent on display throughout Windsor-Essex County.
We are calling upon dancers of all ethnicities, shapes, & sizes with a minimum of 2 years dance
training in any style, as there are many diverse character roles to fill. Dancers must be 18+ by
February 1st 2023 in order to audition.
Auditions are being held at the *NEW* Windsor Dance Experience location at 890 Walker Road on
Saturday, September 17th, 2022 from 4pm-8pm, with callbacks occurring on Sunday, September
18th, from 9am-1pm at the same location. Dancers are asked to bring comfortable clothing, water,
running shoes, character shoes & dance heels if able, & be prepared to show off any tricks or special
skills.
This large-scale dance production is a great opportunity for the Windsor-Essex dance community to
experience a paid professional dance production usually only given a chance on stage in larger
cities, as well as a chance to show the city what a true breeding ground our programs and talented
instructors have created here in Windsor-Essex County.
