The name “Mozart” is synonymous with the typical 18th century symphony. This program features Mozart’s Symphony No. 15 in G and the work of Boccherini, one of Mozart’s contemporaries. Boccherini, who was born and raised in Italy, straddled Italy and Spain, where he spent most of his adult life. His work “La casa del Diavolo”, or “The Devil’s House” refers to the extreme nature of the music – by 18th century standards!
Ticket includes a complimentary cocktail.
This concert is 60 minutes. No intermission.
Robert Franz, conductor
