The Board of Directors of the Downtown Mission (DTM) is seeking nominations for qualified Volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors. Directors are appointed to three-year terms and can serve up to two terms. Board Meetings occur on the last Wednesday evening of each month. We are presently recruiting individuals who are passionate about the work of the DTM and have experience in the fields of Finance and Accounting (CPA designation), Building Maintenance or Construction and Legal experience. Previous experience serving on a Non-Profit Board will be considered an asset. Why serve on our Board? We are a self-directed, sustainable and charitable social service organization grounded in the Christian faith, proactively addressing and meeting the needs of the homeless and disadvantaged in the Windsor area.
