Each PBS Corp client has a behaviour support plan, and it is the responsibility of the behaviour technician to work with caregivers, and/or staff, to put in place strategies within this plan and achieve the desired outcomes.ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Benefits:· Competitive rates of pay· Free RBT training for those not yet certified· RBT clinical supervision· Student Analyst Mentoring Program and FREE BCBA/BCaBA supervision (for those continuing their ABA education)ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients’ behavioursTeaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectivelyReview behaviour plans and other instructional materials developed by behaviour analystsFacilitate consistent implementation of the behaviour plan, and monitor outcomes.Implementing behavioural procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behavioursData collection as prescribed by a recipient’s behaviour analysis service planCommunicate openly with behaviour analysts and regional coordinatorComplete daily progress notes related to implementation of the intervention planABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:Enrolled in or completed post-secondary degree or diplomaWillingness to enrol and complete RBT certificationStrong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solvingABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Requirements:Proven ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgroundsExperience in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, or other developmental disabilitiesClear level-two background checkVerifiable work referencesWe Proudly Serve: California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland / DC, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Kansas, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Ontario, CanadaJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $26.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
