About the Job As a General Labourer at Canadian Protein, you will play a vital role in our production process. We're looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment. Our team members are expected to maintain a clean workspace, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Requirements Availability: You must be available to work Monday to Friday, between the hours of 6:30 am and 3:00 pm. Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is essential. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure correct weights and measurements of our products. Digital Scale Knowledge: Prior experience with digital scales is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. Cleanliness: You should be adept at maintaining a clean work station. Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work well under time restrictions. Physical Ability: You should be able to work standing for extended periods (approximately 70% of the day) and lift 20-50lbs when necessary. Team Player: We value teamwork, and all employees should be willing to assist in other aspects of the workplace that may not be part of their job duties. Personal Protective Equipment: You must be able to provide your own indoor shoes; we provide gloves, hairnets, lab coats, and smocks upon entry to the production area.
