The role requires understanding of key business processes and their related technology infrastructure.Responsibilities:- Address IT service requests from users related to computer systems, software and hardware- Document issues and ensure all solutions are logged and organized appropriately- Evaluate, Install, modify repair and upgrade various hardware, software and operating systems- Troubleshooting and maintenance of networks and cabling- Implement data, software and hardware security procedures- Assist users as deskside support to solve issues- Check proper operation of backups, security software, monitor network and network traffic- Diagnose computer software/hardware issues and implement solutions- Workstation Hardware and Software: troubleshoot desktops, laptops and printers- Participate and be a resource for IT projects such as network/software implementation- Add, remove and update user account information and reset passwords- Obtain authorized approval of system access and software provisioning- Troubleshoot reported problems with systems access- Configure, add and delete security groups- Basic administration tasks within an ERP systemQualifications:- Successful completion of a Computer/Information Technology program at an accredited college or university- Minimum 5 years IT work related experience at a company(s)- User Management for a database- Basic SQL Service Administration- Experience in a Help Desk setting is preferred- Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills a must- Must be able to work independently as well as participate as a team member- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel between workplace locationsIn accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Max Die Group is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to providing an inclusive and barrier free recruitment and selection process.
