ACCOUNTING CLERK The primary function of this position is the Accounts Payable role. This role is responsible for: Posting vendor packing slips and accounts payable invoices Costing received goods and services to the appropriate accounts Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies Cheque preparation Credit card account reconciliation and posting Preparation of various accounting reports Record and process employee tool purchases Time and attendance recording for payroll Greeting guests into the building or over the phone Receptionist duties Maintenance of filing systems Issuing of purchase orders to suppliers and commercial invoices, when called upon Desired Skills and Experience: Accounting College Diploma from an accredited College preferred Minimum 2 years of experience required Knowledge and ability to process a complete payroll, if necessary Excellent organizational and time management Ability to work independently within specific timelines to meet reporting goals Attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Professional at all times Positive attitude and must be a team player Proven ability to establish positive relationships, credibility and trust with all levels of employees We are committed to a candidate selection process and work environment that is inclusive and barrier free.
