We are rapidly growing at YESCO Southwestern Ontario and are seeking an experienced Sign and Lighting Technician to join our team. The sign and outdoor industry is a large and growing market in both the United States and Canada. YESCO is over 100 years old and is an internationally recognized leader in Sign and Lighting Service. Our long tradition of innovative, best of class customer service and a tradition of excellence has allowed us to grow and excel – and we continue to do so! Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience servicing neon, parking lot lights, LED and fluorescent signs. The successful applicant will be completing minor and major sign and lighting service repairs (mainly outdoors), documenting work orders, and communicating with customers and company sales representatives in the Windsor and surrounding area Essential requirements: Must be a motivated self-starter who enjoys working alone Ability to prioritize tasks independently Organizational and time management skills Thrive in a fast-paced environment Willing to work in all types of weather conditions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with the use of modern technology in a paperless environment (eg. cellphone app) Must be neat, friendly and able to deal with customers professionally Valid Class G license with a clean driving record (D license is an asset but not required) Working at Heights certificate (Government approved) (we can cover training & certification if required) Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for troubleshooting electrical issues Position Details: Full-time Monday to Friday Occasional overtime when required Use of company truck and cellphone Competitive wages based on qualifications and experience NOTE: rural home location is preferable to park company truck securely on evenings and weekends.
