Overview We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities – Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and various IT services – Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals – Troubleshoot software issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams – Perform routine maintenance on systems and networks to ensure smooth operations – Assist with firewall configuration and monitoring – Handle desktop support tasks including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting – Collaborate with the IT team to improve system efficiency and user experience Field Technician with Networking-Cabling experience. – Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients in the field. – Communicate professionally in English, follow Standard Operating Procedures, and promptly transmit job documentation. – Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware from various vendors. – Resolving general IT issues related to jobs. – Configure POS/Kiosk/Computer systems, swap parts and cables, and install operating systems. – Follow detailed client/vendor instruction manuals to resolve issues. – Conduct system upgrades and updates as necessary. – Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. -Candidates must have at least 12 months of hands-on experience in configuring, replacing, and repairing PC, laptop, server, printer, POS, kiosk, or other hardware. Cabling experience, including crimping, drilling, and patching with relevant tools, is required. Willingness to work outside regular business hours is essential. The technician must have their own vehicle and tools. Experience in electrician background – setting up new offices, data centers, and server rooms is highly desirable Skills: – Familiarity of LAN and network connectivity troubleshooting. – Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. – Legally be allowed to work in Canada.
