Munck Cranes Inc. is much more than a catalogue crane and hoist company. As we solve our customer’s materials handling requirements both overhead and directly on the plant floor. We manufacture and service overhead bridge cranes, gantry cranes, hoists, under hook attachments, and transfer carts. Munck Cranes has been successfully serving the industry for 30 years. About You Our growing business is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help increase sales in our South Western Ontario region. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. This position would work remotely, in the SWOT region (Brantford, London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Windsor, Sarnia), and would be best suited for someone living in the designated area. Responsibilities and Duties: Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory. Lead generation, market potential research to generate quote opportunities. Preparing and presentation of quotations to customers. Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers. Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales. Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales. Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers. Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth. Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers. Qualifications/Requirements: 3+ years relevant sales experience. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field. Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Proven sales and customer service experience. Proficient in math, taking measurements, reading drawings. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset. Flexible schedule and willingness to travel within prescribed territory. Compensation Structure: Compensation package includes salary, plus commission, with supplied auto and business tools. Compensation is based on combined experience, skill set and education.
