Payroll: Prepare and process weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now and Run ADP Ensure all timecards and payroll data is accurate Prepare payroll reports as required by finance, management, etc. Review weekly timecard reports for agency workers Prepare and approve payroll invoices Submit ROEs and other payroll documents in a timely manner Time and Attendance: Manage and approve employee time off requests and ensure requests are inputted into ADP Track employee absences and vacation time used Verify employee hours with supervisors Health and Safety: Lead Joint Health and Safety Meetings Record meeting minutes and follow up on any issues Report all WSIB injuries and handle WSIB claims in a timely manner Complete health and safety training with all employees Benefits Management: Act as a liaison between benefits company and employees Ensure new enrollments and changes to employee benefits are inputted correctly Source for a competitive benefits plan on an annual basis Recruitment and Onboarding: Work with management to determine recruitment needs Create job descriptions and advertise open positions Conduct interviews and make recommendations for candidates Ensure employment contracts and all onboarding and payroll documents are completed Add new hire information into ADP Find and apply for new hire employment grants Performance Management and Training: Conduct performance reviews with all employees Track performance reviews and maintain documentation of reviews Ensure all required training has been completed and track using a training matrix Find and apply for training grants Policies and Procedures: Review and update all relevant policies and procedures Stay up to date on employment legislation Inform management and employees of any new or updated policies and procedures Employee Relations: Answer all HR related questions and assist with any HR related matters Coach and educate employees when needed Provide disciplinary action Maintain all records and employee files Lead all company-wide social events Ensure positive company culture Job requirements: Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration or related field CHRP/CHRL Designation preferred 2-5 Years of experience in a Human Resources role 2-5 Years of experience in Payroll Processing role Experience using ADP WFN preferred Sound knowledge of HR disciplines including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, payroll, labour laws, etc. Additional information: Salary: Wage is based on experience.
