Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world’s largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Scheduler to join its dynamic and energetic team. Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects. NOTE: This is an on-site role. Responsibilities Produce a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives Lead the development of project schedules and identify activities necessary to produce products and services during project execution Apply work breakdown structure requirements Manage information integration from engineers, subcontractors, owners, and others to create an integrated master schedule and the 3 weeks look ahead schedule Identify critical paths including critical float path analysis Create graphics including Gantt charts, activity network diagrams, time-scaled logic diagrams, and histograms Work with project management to set goals, objectives, and success factors and analyze project status Assess progress measurement and develop/update progress curves for progress reporting Perform project performance analysis including earned value. Preparing project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies Assess progress measurement and developing/update progress curves for progress reporting Prepare schedule updates and general maintenance in Primavera Schedule related information collection and distribution Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or other relevant field Minimum 10 years of related project scheduling experience Experience in large scale heavy civil infrastructure project is required High-level proficiency with Primavera (P6), required Knowledge of MS Project will be considered an asset Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Strong oral and written communications skills Result-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines Commitment to working in a team environment Must have a driving license and be ready to visit the construction site on a regular basis ** No agency phone calls/emails/submissions please** Dragados is an equal opportunity employer.
