Visitor Services & Membership Officer (PART-TIME)* Reporting to: Manager of Operations, Art Windsor Essex Location: Windsor, ON Hours: 10 – 16 hours per week Wage: $20.17 Start, $21.11 After 6 months, $22.05 After 1 Year (Effective Jan 1, 2023) The Role: We are looking for an art lover who thrives in a vibrant and creative work environment to support AWE with general security of Gallery property, and visitor and membership services for AWE. The successful candidate will provide exemplary customer service to all including internal stakeholders, have a willingness to interact with the public, act in a professional manner, and aid in providing a safe and secure Gallery operation. Main Responsibilities: Guard the Gallery’s art and property, collaborating with team members on safety and security matters Observe and report irregularities such as hazards, property damage, malfunction of machinery and equipment, theft and vandalism, including ensuring Visitors adhering to AWE’s code of conduct, etc. Maintain a presence in the Gallery to enhance customer experience, providing a welcoming visitor experience, including answering customers questions, providing information about exhibitions and programs Support the team during vacations, absences, and venue rentals on a as needed basis Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ministry of Education Equivalent Valid and current Security License issued by the Ministry of Correction Services with Police Clearance CPR and First Aid Training 1+ years experience in security patrolling Cash handling experience including Point of Sale Computer literacy including knowledge of all MS office and experience with any CRM software Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends How to Apply: Please send your CV and a statement of interest to: Thomas Boucher at [email protected] AWE is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
