POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Print Shop Supervisor, the Printing Clerk will provide Administrative / Print Production Support to the print shop and its customers. Visit our websitefor more details WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Printing Clerk will provide timely and efficient administrative and printing support to the Print Shop Supervisor by: Performing high volume copy requests on Production equipment in the Print Shop; Operating and conducting routine maintenance on copy, production equipment including drill press, cutters, cerlox and laminating machines; Typeset changes to: Business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, booklets, manuals, forms/charts as directed by the Print Shop Supervisor; Prioritize requisitions to ensure completion of jobs in a timely and efficient manner for all campuses; Data entry of requisitions on database program to allow for departmental chargebacks of printing requirements for all campuses; Maintain archive of Master Originals of Forms, Flyers, Brochures, Signs, Cards and Labels for all customers; Perform printing, collation, bindery, stapling, padding, drilling and cutting as requested; Paper and Supply Items: Monitor and maintain adequate working quantities and advise Printshop Supervisor when stock levels need to be replenished; Maintain equipment to good working order; Place service calls upon request for all equipment; Assist the Print Shop Team with various other duties to achieve requested deadlines and level of service required to meet customer needs MUST- HAVES: Minimum Grade 12 education, Must have operational knowledge of High Production Copier equipment preferably in a hospital environment; Computer literacy, knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Publisher and Adobe Writer) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Planning, problem solving and organizational skills; Demonstrate ability to work in a strong team environment as well as independently, with minimal supervision; Be open-minded and possess a willingness to learn other aspects of the Printshop and its operations; Dedicated to Customer Service Excellence; Willingness to participate in process improvements; Must be able to respond and maintain a highly pressurized, fast paced volume and tight deadline environment; Must be capable of performing the physical demands associated with the position, i.e. long periods of standing and lifting / carrying of inventory; Committed to the values of the organization; Demonstrated ability to conduct all duties and responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the corporation’s commitment to promote positive customer relations when dealing with patients, families, visitors, volunteers, staff and external agents; Demonstrated appreciation of issues involving customer/employee/employer privacy; Excellent judgment and decision-making skills; Commitment to continuous quality / process improvement in a printing environment; Ability to professionally manage Private / Confidential materials and matters; OTHER CONDITIONS: Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position: exposed to stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines· Must meet the benchmarked standards and requirements of the job Must follow all company practices, policies and procedures Must be able to work shifts Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required TransForm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fair and accessible employment practices that attract and retain employees.
