Quality Control Auditor / Inspector JOB REQUIREMENTS: Have some working Knowledge of stamping process parameters Solid math, good communication skills verbal and written, good organization skills, ability to meet deadlines with accuracy, and good analytical skills CMM experience an asset 3D scanning experience an asset Knowledge of Polyworks an asset Reports to Quality Manager DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform first off/last off and frequency inspections. Perform part visual inspections Part inspection using hand metrology tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge) Part inspection using attribute fixtures (feelers, stab pins, indicators, etc.) Reject/tag/disposition non-conforming parts or material Sorting of non-conforming product. Complete Inspection cards/sheets at required frequencies. Complete Production Scorecards during production runs. Monitor and ensure inspection sheets are being filled out accurately and completely during off shifts. Monitor and disposition material in quarantine area. Monitor parts/materials for proper tagging and identification. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel as may be required. Shift work & Overtime as required. WAGE: Based on ability and experience.
