Energy Management Performance Engineer Description:The EM&VP Performance Engineer will perform integration activities of key program attributes for specific vehicles with responsibilities including but not limited to:Act as point contact for engineers and teams outside of EM&VPSupport creation of and updates to the EM&VP ScorecardProvide technical status for all vehicle level performance, fuel economy, driveability, and weight management targetsCreate work requests for the science teams within EM&VPReview data from each of the EM&VP Science TeamsWork with extended teams to develop tradeoff opportunities between VDE, PSE, and driveabilityWork with extended teams to develop risk mitigation plansValidate customer functional objectives related to EM&VPParticipation on validation trips to ensure EM&VP targets are achievedWork with EM&VP Science Teams to benchmark and future competitive vehiclesEnergy Management Performance Engineer Requirements:***Hybrid Role. Potentially traveling to the US 1-2 times per month for meetings.Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university3+ years experience in product/propulsion system developmentPreferred Requirements:Experience/understand how to derive ABC coast down coefficientsUnderstanding of VDE sensitivities and tradeoff’sFuel economy and/or VDE simulation tool experienceExperience with Powertrain and Electrified Powertrain SystemsExperience in fuel economy testing and data analysisVehicle testing knowledge – chassis dyno, engine dyno, and an understanding of vehicle coast downExperience with futuring and competitive benchmarkingJob Type: Full-timePay: $40.00-$42.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication question(s):Are you a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident?Education:Bachelor’s Degree (required)Work Location: In person
