We are looking, on behalf of our client, a Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer of Injection Moulded components, located in the Windsor Region, for a Human Resources Generalist to support their busy Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager, the HR Generalist will be expected to administer and support the HR function for the company. Duties and Responsibilities include: Supports Benefits Administration Supports Payroll Tracking vacation entitlements, sick days, etc. in Keybrite Recruiting successful candidates Plays an active role as part of the JHSC in support in Health & Safety administration for the employees – Safety Shoes and Safety Glasses WSIB filing and employee support Training and development for all team members (Internal and external) Complete the new hire Onboarding process Support the Human Resources continuous improvement plans Maintaining HR files both Electronic and physical files Provide clerical assistance to the General Manager Coordinating employee relations events and local charities Sort and distribute mail Prepare travel arrangements and Board Crossing invitation letters Completes any other assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned Maintains confidentiality of all information received from the employees/company Responsible for upholding the H & S policy and for working in a safe manner and reporting unhealthy conditions or acts Adheres to all company policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years’ Canadian based experience in a Human Resources Function within a manufacturing environment is required Post-secondary education, college or university preferred CHRP designation or working towards, would be considered an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: CANADIAN Human Resources Administration: 3 years (required) Work Location: One location Show more Report
