Gas Fitter – Oldcastle, ONBy joining our team as a Gas Fitter, you’ll become an important team member and will be provided with the tools you need to succeed. If you’re ready to find your full potential – join us!–Responsibilities:Install water heater and tankless equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards.Replace or repair leaking water heaters and maintenance of HVAC equipment.Ensure personal and customer safety.Provide superior customer service while on call.Educate customers, provide options, and make recommendations.Actively participate in the training and mentoring of new installers.Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard.–Qualifications:Must have Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license.Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.Valid driver’s license.Diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills for residential equipment.Ability to lift and maneuver water heaters with the assistance of material handling equipment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required, including weekends.–We Offer:Opportunity to earn additional commissions and bonusesFully paid tuition and apprentice leave top-upConsistent work with a predictable and stable work scheduleThe tools you need to succeed – including fully stocked trucks and ongoing skills training and professional development programsAward-winning work culture–Why Join Us?We are the industry leader in providing home comfort solutions, and we do just that in over 2 million customer homes across North America.
