The Reporting and Analytics Analyst will provide support within the credit union by driving strategic data-informed decisions, gathering data and information on targeted variable and preparing data for analytic efforts. In summary, the Reporting and Analytics Analyst will: Summarize, analyze and communicate complex data in a simplified manner to deliver meaningful insights and value to support the decision making and evaluating process of the credit union Apply knowledge of sales information and data across multiple lines of business to identify operational insights and key factors that are driving business performance Leverage statistics and work alongside business stakeholders to develop and test solutions, solving a wide variety of business challenges Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for: Perform duties related to running and modifying daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end reports to support all departments within the credit union Collaborate with Departments to recommend the approach to requests for new reporting/analysis by validating the requirements and authorization. Apply customization based on the user’s needs and look to apply trend analysis when appropriate Analyze reports to ensure the integrity of information, ensuring data entry is consistent with corporate policy and that data standards are upheld Assist with report management to ensure that any technical issues that arise are documented to confirm the initial cause and the subsequent solution Assist with developing expanded predictive analytics Identifying and recommending ways to simplify and automate processes to increase reporting productivity Staying up to date with the latest technology, industry trends and industry best practices The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are: A degree or diploma in Mathematics, Business Administration with a concentration in Data Analytics or a related field 2-4 years of related experience Excellent communication skills with executives and other internal stakeholders, catering to various levels of analytical proficiency Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects A logical and curious thinker who can learn new technologies, computing applications or data sources Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Reporting Services, Visual Studio Reporting Services, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro These additional skills are considered assets too: Knowledge of implementing and configuring Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence software applications is an asset Experience working in the financial services industry If you feel you’re a great fit, let us know why!
