As Guest Services Manager, you are responsible for overseeing front office operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Oversee Front Office operations; Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock cost controls and well managed schedules; Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures; Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Desk Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork; Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities; Ensure staffing levels cover business demands; Ensure ongoing training of Team Members Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated; Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures; Support managing, training and developing the Front Office team; and Assist other departments wherever necessary JOB REQUIREMENTS To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: Minimum three (3) years Front Desk experience in the hospitality sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity – strong preference given to those with previous Hilton front office experience / OnQ PIM experience High level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Committed to delivering high levels of customer service Ability to work under pressure High level of IT proficiency Excellent grooming standards Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Benefits: Life insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Holidays Monday to Friday On call Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: JOB REQUIREMENTS To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: Minimum (3) years Front Desk experience in the hospitality sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity – strong preference Ability to commute/relocate: Windsor, ON N9A 5K4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: Front desk: 3 years (required) Expected start date: 2022-09-19
