We are looking to hire a full-time Medical Office Assistant who shares in our values- providing support through empathy, compassion and dignity. As a key member of this multi-disciplinary team, the Medical Office Assistant will:Work collaboratively with the physician and health care team to provide optimal careUpdate patient EMR as per the clinic policyImplement appropriate strategies by working with the inter-professional team using a client centered approachActively participate in the teaching/learning process with clients, families, students and team members about best practice and evidence-based carePerform other office duties that support the mission and vision of the practice and/or as assigned based on position responsibilities and/or site requirementsQualifications and Assets:Medical Office Administration Diploma is requiredInnovative critical thinking, with excellent communication and problem solving skillsExperience working as a Medical Office Assistant in a clinic setting is an assetPrevious addiction experience is an assetCriminal record check is requiredBasic CPR with annual recertification is requiredWork remotelyNoJob Type: Part-timeSalary: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:Company eventsOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededEducation:DCS / DEC (required)Experience:Medical office experience: 2 years (required)Shift availability:Day Shift (required)Work Location: In personShow more Report
