Full job description Minimum Qualifications 2 years of benefits administration and communication experience 2 years of experience managing vendor relationships Preferred Qualifications Degree in human resources or a related field of study Experience with Canadian/US/global benefits administration or total rewards Job Summary As a Canadian Benefits & Wellness Specialist, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day activities and administration related to Canadian benefits, wellness and Leave of Absence (LOA) administration. In addition to this, you'll support some US and Canadian benefits and wellness initiatives and projects as well. Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day administration of all Canadian benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement, fringe benefits and leaves Responsible for day-to-day administration of disability and leaves which includes Work with team members to facilitate and manage multiple and various team member leave Investigate claim issues and recommend resolutions that mitigate risk and/or team member impact Assist in reviewing and recommending changes to policies, procedures and communications Work closely with benefits brokers on all Canadian benefits activities, including annual renewals Identify, report and resolve issues relating to Canadian benefits plans; coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve any escalated issues Partner with the Legal team to process benefit contracts, agreements and documentation requests. Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes Support the implementation of Canadian benefits plans and programs Provide research, documentation, and reporting support for benefit plans Create and update benefits snapshot, plan documents and information on intranet site/s Communicate with our Canadian team members regarding company benefit and wellness policies and processes Research and prepare ad hoc reports, compile metrics for analysis and assist with financial reporting Research and compile benefits and wellness data for audits and other inquiries, as directed Assist with Canadian and US compensation initiatives and projects Supports and assists Benefits and Wellness team in meeting project-based requirements in the development, administration and implementation of initiatives and projects for both Canada and the United States Support US benefit program and leave administration, as required Benefits and Perks Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
