Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience in product management as a Product Owner or Product Manager or in a product-related role within a development team Strong background in usability and/or software development and architecture Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment with a focus on Scrum, XP and Kanban methodologies Bachelors degree in business management, marketing, computer science, information management systems or a closely related field Strong communication and relationship-building skills Team-first mentality Strong systems thinking and the ability to articulate the big picture Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) training Ability to deliver solutions iteratively Job Summary The Product Owner is responsible for aligning to product visions and prioritizing what we deliver within a Lean/Agile development team environment. This talented and passionate team member inspires innovation and helps teams develop solutions that focus on delivering value. Responsibilities Drive the vision and definition of the product Know why were building the product, its audience and what problem it will solve Represent the voice of the client Ensure the Development team works on the right things from the stakeholders perspective Understand the business, technology and process context in which a product delivers value Write new user stories, ensuring that acceptance criteria is met when code is complete Drive release planning and forecasting Regularly communicate with every product stakeholder Share insights throughout the company regarding the product Engage with our User Experience team to define requirements for how a prospective user interacts with the product Disclaimer This is an outline of the primary responsibilities of this position.
