The Opportunity: Our client in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a Production Supervisor in the Windsor/Essex area. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing employees and the daily operations of the production floor. What’s In It For You? Competitive Base Salary Comprehensive Benefits Package Opportunity to work for a growing organization What You’ll Be Responsible For: Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring all processes run efficiently. Monitoring production schedules and adjust workflows to meet output targets and delivery. Completing required health and safety documentation and participating in health and safety training. Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Providing training to employees on all required health and safety, GMP and SOP. Ensuring accurate record keeping and documentation following GDP standards. Implementing process improvements and collaborating with other departments to increase efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations by fostering a safe work environment. Completing facility walk throughs on every shift to address potential hazards, prevent accidents or injuries, and report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and potential hazards to the Production/Plant Manager and HR. The Ideal Candidate: Post-Secondary education in Engineering, Science, Mechanics/Manufacturing, or other related field. 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficient in adhering to GMP, HACCP, quality, and safety procedures and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills to address production issues and improve efficiency. Strong mechanical aptitude. Skilled at handling multiple priorities to ensure production goals are achieved in a timely manner. Excellent leadership abilities and adept at motivating employees in a collaborative team environment. Ability to resolve and manage conflicts diplomatically. Effective time management skills. Demonstrated knowledge in using ERP software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word. Ability to work a 12-hour continental shift. Valid G driver’s license. Complimentary Experience: Previous experience working within a unionized environment.
