Distributes mail accordingly. • Stamps received invoices with the date, checks invoice computations, sorts invoices alphabetically, initials them, and forwards them to the Administrative Assistant Accounts Payable. • Prepares bank deposits for cheques received, types various letters and memos as requested, and arranges for courier pick-up and deliveries. • Coordinates materials and supplies for meetings, including refreshments or food. • Maintains the postage meter and processes all outgoing mail. • Monitors weekly inventory of all plant office supplies and places orders as needed. • Contacts the appropriate service company to address any issues with fax machines or photocopiers and follows up to ensure they are in good operating condition. • Prepares customs and courier documentation for miscellaneous parts being exported or imported. • Performs other miscellaneous duties or special projects as assigned by managers. • Occasional travel may be necessary • Proficiency in conducting presentations • Typical office setting; manual skills needed for operating desktop computer and peripherals Qualifications • College diploma or university degree • 3 years in an office environment • Computer skills, including familiarity with Excel, Outlook, Word, and MS Office • Familiarity with QS9000 • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written • Team-oriented • Strong communication and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision Summary If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly!
