If you think you have what it takes to join our team, we want to meet you!Job Skills / Requirements Position Title: Field Manager Location: Windsor Reports To: Director of Operations Hours: Full Time (Tuesday – Saturday / 1700hrs – 0100hrs) Posted: May 18, 2022 Position Overview: The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations of the Company and that the policies, procedures and stated aims of the organization are met. Critical Job Functions: Ensure all scheduled shifts are complete and all contractual obligations of the Company have been met Participates and oversees the Company’s disaster response until such time as a senior manager has relieved the responsibility Advise and inform Senior Management of critical incidents Brief Senior Management on issues as required Attends and oversees all critical incidents that may occur Investigate and report on all occupation health & safety incidents following the procedures set out in the corporate OH&S manual Attends and investigates all officer involved Motor Vehicle Incidents (MVIs) Essential Job Functions: Conducts themselves in accordance with the Company’s Six Guiding Principles Provides disciplinary and motivational discussions with uniformed staff as needed Ensures that all Security Officers are attired professionally and in a manner consistent with Paladin’s policies on dress and deportment Produces written reports detailing the events while they worked and documents any occurrences or noteworthy items (client issues, staff changes, staff issues) that have occurred Oversees site training to ensure all staff posted at Paladin sites are familiar with the client’s operation, post orders, and duties at the site Ensures all reports generated by Paladin Security staff members (incident reports, memo books, daily reports) are completed in accordance with Paladin’s high standards Ensures all radio communications are effectively monitored and all communications are consistent with existing company practices Performs performance evaluations for Security Officers posted at sites without a Site Supervisor and provides the evaluations to the responsible Client Service Manager Ensures all field personnel are properly dealt with in matters of performance issues, career goals and individual problems Provides staff with public accolades when they have done a good job and communicates this information on to the appropriate CSM Provides discipline to any staff member whose actions are inconsistent with the goals, the policies, or the procedures of Paladin Security and communicates this information to the CSM immediately Ensures that urgent client service is coordinated and completed in an appropriate and professional manner Liaises with clients, as directed by the appropriate CSM, to ensure that the client is satisfied with the efforts of the Paladin Security team and any small issues can be dealt with informally and quickly and to the client’s satisfaction Ensures post orders at sites that do not have Site Supervisors are always up to date and complete Supports and liaises with all Site Supervisors, Shift Supervisors and Security Officers in troubleshooting and problem solving as required and reports regularly to the CSM on progress and problems in these areas Performs specific duties as directed by the management of Paladin Security Develops and implements new ideas for improvement of field operations Supports and assists members of the mobile division as required Establishes mechanisms to ensure that all field operations are conducted in accordance with the ethical and professional values, management philosophies, and established policies and practices of the company Non-essential Job Functions: Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of all corporate fleet vehicles Ensure, while on duty, the operation of all company vehicles is conducted in a manner consistent with all relevant legislation and company policies NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
