Job Description The Tire and Wheel Design Release Engineer will be primarily responsible for the tire and wheel product lines. The selected candidate will support tire line-ups on specific assigned vehicle lines. The Engineer will interface with vehicle engineering, suppliers, purchasing, quality, and assembly plants. He/she will manage tire functional performance to targets and product release change process as required. He/she will Manage investigations for tire functional benchmarking and present status and next steps of tire development activities to various cross functional groups. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. If a recent college graduate, 3.0 GPA minimum. 2 years engineering design and development experience (preferred). Demonstration of automobile interest (automobile hobby, college project). Demonstration of passion to work in the automotive industry.
