Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain company policies adhering to local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations Inspect the work areas and work procedures and make environmental recommendations accordingly Maintain and update environmental policy and procedure manuals Research environmental information to assure the best available methods and equipment are adopted to minimize the hazards in the workplace Provide guidance to field personnel via Environmental briefings/toolbox talks Advise on improvements in tracking and reporting procedures Coordinate environmental sub-contractors to provide specialty input and direction on behalf of BNA Coordinate the instruction of operating personnel concerning the organization's environment objectives Create and maintain appropriate reference files for all environmental issues and actions taken on the project Lead and conduct field soil and water sampling as required Monitor, coordinate, and implements environmental programs Ensure compliance with all related compliance activities, identify and manages risk verify and monitors associated training requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline 5 years of practical environmental management experience is preferred 3-5 years of construction industry experience in a management/supervisory position Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures, and regulations Proficiency with applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office Highly motivated and team-oriented Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Exceptional organizational skills with task prioritization, multi-tasking, and strong time management skills Good verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated diplomacy and professionalism Dragados is an equal opportunity employer.
