Our Sales team is growing and looking for a dynamic candidate who likes new challenges and driven personality to join us. To be a successful candidate should have a background in sales analysis in the automotive industry. The Sales Analyst is responsible for a variety of efforts relating to increasing overall sales. This primarily involves the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets to produce sales forecasts and strategies. Sales analysts assess data such as customer metrics, competitor information, and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue and market share. The sales analyst must communicate with vendors and outside clients to coordinate new marketing efforts. Other duties include: Provide support to account managers for cost recovery processes Manage all commercial pricing, engineering and logistics changes Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks Support the manufacturing team in managing customer communication Assist with updating purchase orders with manufacturing Maintain customer portals Support account managers with quote tracking Collect and analyze data to determine the costs of business activity Implement, maintain and update associated cost models with real-time quotes or valid technical data (as applicable) Assist account managers in resolving commercial issues pertaining to delivery, timing, and meeting of customer requirements Support sales analysis and forecasts Assist account managers with discussions with internal and external customers, including the development of presentations and written documentation Manage contracts, award letters and other documents for the Wixom office Other duties as assigned To be a qualified candidate you must meet the following: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Accounting, Finance, Communications, Management, or another related field preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a sales administrator, analyst or cost estimator role Manufacturing environment experience desired, automotive supply industry a plus Experience with integrated ERP systems is recommended (Plex, SAP,etc) as well as CRM systems Manufacturing environment experience desired, automotive a plus Key to being successful in this role: Strong analytical and decision-making skills Demonstrated excellent problem-solving ability, follow-through, and sound judgement Proven ability to analyze data and trends, prepare written correspondence and presentations Natural ability to interact at all levels of the organization and excellent interpersonal skills Experience working with highly confidential information while maintaining discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle shifting deadlines and priorities A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, including remote team members, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision and to show initiative Why work for Minth?
