*Job Summary* We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and maintaining audio and video equipment for various events and productions. *Responsibilities* – Set up and install audio visual equipment for events and presentations – Operate soundboards, projectors, microphones, speakers, and lighting systems during events – Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to ensure proper functionality – Maintain and repair audio visual equipment as needed – Collaborate with clients to understand their audio visual needs and provide technical support – Telecommunicate with team members to coordinate setup and operation of equipment *Requirements* – Mechanical knowledge to handle equipment setup and maintenance – Ability to read schematics for troubleshooting purposes – Proficiency in software troubleshooting for audio visual systems – Knowledge of computer hardware related to audio visual setups – Familiarity with low voltage and electrical systems – Proficient in using hand tools for equipment installation and repair Job Types: Casual, Freelance Pay: From $17.00 per hour Additional pay: Commission pay Flexible language requirement: French not required Application question(s): Do you have any prior experience in audio-visual settings?
