Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring efficient operations and excellent patient care.Job descriptionResponsibilities:Patient reception, check-in and roomingMaintain patients 'account including demographics and medicationsPreform BP, ECG and Holter hookups (Training Provided)Support clinic physician and Team to deliver best patient careMaintain examination rooms and work areas cleanSterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas.Follow departmental and clinic policies and proceduresEnsure patient privacy and safety at all timesGeneral office duties such as handling phone, email and fax inquiries, as well as in-person; and appointment bookingsRequirements:Office Administration experience. Prior experience in a healthcare setting considered an assetProven organizational and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner is essentialDemonstrated ability to work responsibly in an interdisciplinary team environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsComputer SkillsDemonstrated ability to accept assigned or delegated functions.Commitment to quality patient care, strong work ethics, and continuing professional developmentKnowledge of Medical Terminology related to Cardiology is an asset.Criminal record checkMust be legal to work in CanadaJob Types: Part-time, PermanentPay: $18.00-$21.00 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingFlexible language requirement:French not requiredSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededAbility to commute/relocate:Windsor, ON N8W 1K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Administrative: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
