As the holiday season approaches, Downtown Windsor is set to sparkle with an extra dose of festive cheer, thanks to a partnership between the Downtown Windsor BIA and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island.
This creative initiative brings together local artists and businesses in a collaborative effort to enhance the holiday ambiance, support the community, and transform storefront windows into vibrant works of art. The program aims to celebrate the season while promoting local talent and encouraging foot traffic to downtown businesses.
We invite you to join our efforts in creating a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and visitors this holiday season. Together, let’s turn Downtown Windsor into a magical, winter wonderland!
This program is available only to downtown merchants, owners and tenants of buildings used for commercial purposes located within the DWBIA boundaries.
The DWBIA will match 75% of all festive window painting, conducted by local artists, for the express purposes of beautifying downtown commercial businesses, up to a maximum of $160 excluding HST.
