Broken Window Program Guidelines

Program Overview

If you have a first floor commercial property within the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association’s business district and one of your windows has been broken, we will assist you in having it repaired.

Eligibility

This program is available only to all DWBIA members in good standing.

How It Works

The DWBIA will reimburse members for 50% of the cost of glass repairs/replacement to a maximum of $500.00 one-time per year, per business address. Please note that the DWBIA does not reimburse members for the HST portion of the receipt.

To qualify for this program you need to submit copies of the following to the DWBIA:

1. A copy of the Windsor Police Services report filed regarding the window in question. The DWBIA will reimburse the member for the cost of the Police report.
2. Include a copy of one quote for the repair or replacement of the glass window in question.

Funds are released at the discretion of the DWBIA. Please submit documents to:
