DWBIA Launches Crowdfunding Initiative

To help alleviate some of the financial burden brought on by COVID-19, the DWBIA has launched a crowdfunding initiative for its members. As a member of the DWBIA, you’re eligible to participate in this option.

Crowdfunding is the practice of raising small amounts of money from a large group of people for a specific cause, business venture or project. Contributors could be friends, family members and acquaintances, but more successful crowdfunding is launched on social media and on crowdfunding platforms in an effort to access a vaster network of potential supporters. While there are different types of crowdfunding, the DWBIA has chosen donation-based crowdfunding, which allows contributors to make a donation to the business of their choice with no expectation of reward or equity. Crowdfunding is a great way for your customers and supporters to back you while you get back on your feet.
